Energy & Infrastructure

We take on energy and infrastructure projects of all shapes and sizes, working with everyone involved.

Our construction, energy and project lawyers advise project managers, suppliers, government bodies and local authorities and private companies through the lifetime of complex projects, negotiating contracts and resolving disputes. We can also provide corporate and banking and finance support, for major company acquisitions and construction due diligence for development finance matters.

We’ve worked on numerous onshore wind and solar projects, advising on procurement as well as operations and maintenance. Several local authorities trust us with their waste management and waste-to-energy initiatives, and we’re the only firm in Wales to be on the Hinkley Supply Chain Professional Services Group.

We’ve advised and commented on innovative funding structures, including the Welsh Mutual Investment Model. Our Senior Partner Chris Nott and Partner Stuart Pearson were invited to the Senedd to provide their views on MIM as a solution to the “State of the Roads in Wales” and in relation to the funding sources available to the Welsh Government, in front of the Economy, Infrastructure and Skills Committee.
