Some of the recent work we’ve worked on includes:

  • Acting for the joint venture contractor on the world’s largest civil infrastructure and engineering project, the construction of the £2 billion Doha Metro Gold Line Underground in Qatar
  • Advising the National Assembly for Wales on the construction of the Senedd Debating Chamber with a capital value of circa £60 million
  • Advising the Defence Aviation Repair Agency, the former executive agency of the Ministry of Defence (MoD), on the finance, construction and management of a super hangar project at the MoD’s St Athan site in the Vale of Glamorgan with a capital value of £80 million
  • Acting as lead commercial and legal adviser for a Spanish waste management company, Urbaser, on a £180 million waste to energy project with Gloucestershire County Council
  • Advising on the design, construction, finance and maintenance of a £40 million student accommodation project, a public private partnership between Grŵp Gwalia and Bangor University
  • Advising Cardiff Bay Development Corporation on construction issues involving a private finance/public sector infrastructure project with a capital value of £100 million
  • Advising a private sector consortium on a PFI scheme involving the provision of a new hospital and community healthcare facility in Cardiff with a capital value of circa £25 million
  • Advising a county council on the drafting and negotiation of documentation for a £200 million waste to energy project in a public private partnership
  • Advising a police authority on the development of a new custodial facility
  • Advising a private sector consortium on a PFI project with a police authority for new custodial and police station facilities
  • Advising a fire authority on a PFI project involving the development of new fire training facilities
  • Advising a major contractor in relation to non-recourse funding and the construction of student accommodation with a capital value of circa £32 million
  • FM Contractors: Advising on the hard and soft facilities management forms of contract for a PFI project for a new schools development in Kent and advising a German FM contractor on the novation of a schools contract in Ireland
