Andrew graduated with a First Class Honours in Law and is top-ranked by Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500, being recognised as an expert in resolving commercial disputes (often of a high value, complex and sensitive nature), whether in Court or by commercial means. Andrew has extensive experience of multi-party actions, judicial reviews, and injunctive relief. He has built up a detailed knowledge of the litigation funding market. He recently launched Capital’s £50m litigation fund, Capital Dispute Finance – a UK first for a law firm, which enables claimants to pursue their claims without cost or risk. He was also part of the British Medical Association’s advisory team which launched BMA Law.
His main areas of practice include:
tax litigation, including claims against the financial advisors of schemes which HMRC have subsequently found to have been tax avoidance schemes
director’s duties, breach of trust and corporate fraud
urgent injunction work, particularly concerning the enforcement of employee restrictive covenants and securing the return of confidential information
