Cath is a Senior Associate in our Corporate & Private Equity team.

Cath advises companies, shareholders and investors on various corporate finance transactions; whether that be private equity investors acquiring and backing a management team, shareholders on the disposal of their business or an investor syndicate supporting an early stage business.

Cath trained at Capital and qualified in 2017 and since then has acted on a wide range of corporate transactions, most recently multiple “bolt-on” acquisitions for acquisitive long-standing clients of the firm.

Another large focus of Cath’s time and advice is for investor syndicates investing into Welsh based early-stage businesses.

AMPLYFI, an AI-powered market intelligence platform, on its £50m investment from Cardiff Capital Region’s Innovation Investment Capital fund
WestBridge on their support of the management buyout of international digital commerce agency Tryzens.
WestBridge Capital on the management buy-out of Techex Limited, a broadcast design architect for live cloud and IP broadcast solutions.
WestBridge Capital on the acquisition of, and investment in, Eque2, a provider of technology to the construction industry.
WestBridge Capital on its equity of AJM Healthcare, the leading provider of NHS wheelchair services in England.
BGF on its investment into Character.com, an online children’s international clothing retailer.
Acting for Veezu, the UK’s fastest growing taxi and private hire technology platform, on its establishment of an “eastern hub” by its acquisition of Panther Taxis and ABC Taxis.
Development Bank of Wales on numerous debt and equity investments, including its multi-million pound investment in Kingsward Group.
Advising Freight Logistic Solutions and its shareholders on £2.2m investment from the Development Bank of Wales.
Acting for various angel investor syndicates on their investments, alongside Angels Invest Wales, into various Welsh businesses, including Voltric, Final Rentals and Marine Power Systems.
Acting for UK based InsurTech Zego on its $42 million Series B fund raise, one of the largest ever for a European based InsurTech start-up.
The shareholders of Peppercorn AI, an InsurTech, on its £1.8m Series A investment in the company by venture capitalist fund EHE Capital.
